1823 IPA

7.3% alc/vol, re-fermented in the can. Made with pale malt, East Kent Goldings hops and yeast.

This is a re-creation of the IPA recipe from Burton-Upon-Trent that replaced the original London IPA in 1823, down to the water chemistry. It spent months in oak barrels to simulate the sea voyage to India.
