King Gambrinus: The devil’s tipple
This strong Adambier (10% alc/vol) is a re-creation of a 500 year-old style from what is now Dortmund, Germany but was at the time part of the Holy Roman Empire. It’s a rich, roasty and mildly smoky beer beer that reminds us of the folk legend King Gambrinus, they mythical king of beer, who some say was taught to brew in hell by the devil himself. It is can-conditioned and aged for one year.
